In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting LaGrange Grangers soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Carrollton Trojans.
The Grangers (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Panthers go into the 4A Area 4 outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Starr's Mill held off Troup County (LaGrange, GA), 4-1, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA) in a 7A Area 2 outing, on Thursday, March 14. Carrollton will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Osborne (Marietta, GA).
