Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Las Lomas for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Alhambra will battle a Knights squad coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Carondelet (Concord, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Antioch falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Washington (Fremont, CA) to battle the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 14. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Washington won 10-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Hayward (Hayward, CA)
