Illinois High School Softball - Newark bounces Amboy

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Newark Norsemen (Newark, IL) and the visiting Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), witnessed Newark's softball squad prevail over Amboy by a count of 15-2.

The Norsemen now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Batavia for a non-league match on Friday, March 15.

With the loss, Amboy moves to 2-1 on the season. The Clippers travel to Orangeville (Orangeville, IL) to meet the Broncos in a non-league match on Saturday, March 16. The Broncos go into the match with a record of 1-0. Orangeville won 12-7 in their recent non-league match against Polo (Polo, IL)
