Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) and the visiting Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA), witnessed Brusly's softball squad tip Teurlings Catholic by a count of 11-5.

The Panthers now sport a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to North DeSoto for a non-league match on Thursday, March 14. Brusly will meet a Griffins squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 17-0.

With the loss, Teurlings Catholic moves to 11-5 on the season. The Rebels travel to Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA) to meet the Knights in a 4A District 4 match on Thursday, March 14. The Knights go into the match with a record of 7-6. Lafayette Christian Academy lost 10-9 in their recent league match against Westgate (New Iberia, LA)
