Louisiana High School Softball - Carencro falls to New Iberia

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting New Iberia Yellowjackets softball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Carencro Bears.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets battle the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) in a 5A District 3 outing, on Thursday, March 14. New Iberia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Lions enter the outing with a 9-6 record after their 11-0 league win over Carencro (Lafayette, LA).

The Bears (0-6) will now prepare for their outing against Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Sharks enter the 5A District 3 outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Southside was routed by Sulphur (Sulphur, LA), 6-4, in a league outing.
