Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), 21-3 in a league challenge.

The Jets now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host San Leandro for a West Alameda County-Shoreline challenge on Friday, March 15. Encinal will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Tennyson falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host Valley Christian (Dublin, CA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Valley Christian lost 25-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Miramonte (Orinda, CA)
