California High School Softball - University Prep bounces Hesperia

March 13, 2024: Hesperia, CA 92345

University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hesperia Scorpions (Hesperia, CA), 16-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Gorgonio for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. University Prep will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 10-8 league loss to Rialto (Rialto, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Hesperia falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Serrano (Phelan, CA) to battle the Diamondbacks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 14. The Diamondbacks enter the challenge with a record of 5-6. Serrano won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Eisenhower (Rialto, CA)
