The Miami Vandals softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Superior Panthers to 8 in the Vandals non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Miami moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Vandals travel to Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ) to clash with the Fighting Scouts in a non-league game on Thursday, March 14. The Fighting Scouts come into the game with a record of 2-1. Window Rock won 16-0 in their recent league game against Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ) in a 1A East game, on Tuesday, March 19. Superior will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 18-2 league win over Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ).
