The Firebirds now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bunn for a The Big East 2A/3A challenge on Thursday, March 14. Southern Nash will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-8 league loss to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, North Johnston falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. SouthWest Edgecombe lost 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Farmville Central (Farmville, NC)
