With the triumph, Spring Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Timberwolves host Independence (Coal City, WV) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league game on Saturday, March 16. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 2-0. Independence won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Midland Trail (Hico, WV)

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Wahama White Falcons (Mason, WV) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 15. Ripley will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The White Falcons come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 18-3 league win over Williamstown (Williamstown, WV).
