The West Springfield Spartans softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals to 8 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, West Springfield moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Spartans travel to Fairfax (Fairfax, VA) to play the Lions in a Patriot game on Friday, March 15.
