In Thursday's non-league bout, the Asher Indians (Asher, OK) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Smithville Braves (Smithville, OK), by a tally of 10-3.
Next up, the Indians encounter the Kiowa Cowboys (Kiowa, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 14. Asher will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Cowboys enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Boswell (Boswell, OK).
The Braves (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Valliant (Valliant, OK). The Bulldogs enter the 3A District 8 bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Valliant edged Antlers (Antlers, OK), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
