Texas High School Baseball - Brazos loses to Calhoun

Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX), 12-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Calhoun advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Sandcrabs travel to Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX) to battle the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, March 14. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 3-6. Aransas Pass lost 15-5 in their recent non-league match against Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX)

The Cougars now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boling for a 3A Region III District 24 match on Tuesday, March 18. Brazos will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.
