In Thursday's non-league bout, the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) baseball squad edged the visiting Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL), by a tally of 3-2.
Next up, the Cavaliers encounter the South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 15. Caledonia will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 1-8 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN).
The Senators (9-7) will now prepare for their bout against Lexington (Lexington, TN). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Lexington edged Riverside (Decaturville, TN), 7-1, in a non-league bout.
