Arizona High School Baseball - Douglas loses to Tanque Verde

Tanque Verde Hawks (Tucson, AZ) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Douglas Bulldogs (Douglas, AZ), 14-7 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Tanque Verde advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ) to battle the Red Wolves in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 19. The Red Wolves come into the match with a record of 6-3. Walden Grove won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ)

The Bulldogs now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Desert View for a non-league match on Thursday, March 13. Douglas will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Marana (Tucson, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-2.
