In Thursday's non-league game, the host Dyersburg Trojans baseball team scored a close 11-5 victory over the McKenzie Rebels.
The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Gibson County (Dyer, TN). The Pioneers enter the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Gibson County held off Tipton Christian Academy (Covington, TN), 11-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Rebels face the Jackson South Side Hawks (Jackson, TN) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 14. McKenzie will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Crockett County (Alamo, TN).
