The Edgewood Bulldogs baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Lovelady Lions to 4 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lindsay for a non-league test on Friday, March 14. Edgewood will clash with a Knights team coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Windthorst (Windthorst, TX). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Lovelady drops to 8-5 on the year. The Lions host Muenster (Muenster, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 9-4. Muenster won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Bowie (Bowie, TX)
