The Gardendale Rockets baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Thompson Warriors to 3 in the Rockets non-league win on Thursday.
The Rockets now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clay-Chalkville for a 6A Area 12 test on Tuesday, March 18.
With the defeat, Thompson drops to 14-8 on the year. The Warriors travel to Helena (Helena, AL) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 7-7. Helena lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL)
