New Mexico High School Baseball - Hot Springs sneaks past Mescalero Apache

March 13, 2025: Truth or Consequences, NM 87901

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) and the visiting Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), saw Hot Springs's baseball team get by Mescalero Apache by a tally of 9-8.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cobre (Bayard, NM). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Cobre was tipped by Chaparral (Chaparral, NM), 8-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Chiefs face the Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 22. Mescalero Apache will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Clayton (Clayton, NM).
