North Carolina High School Baseball - J.H. Rose wallops Perquimans

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) and the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), saw J.H. Rose's baseball team gain a win over Perquimans by a tally of 13-3.

The Rampants (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Vikings enter the Big East 3A/4A battle with a 6-1 record.

Next, the Pirates face the North East Carolina Prep Husky (Tarboro, NC) in a Four Rivers 1A battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Perquimans will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Husky go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC).
