North Carolina High School Baseball - West Johnston loses to Midway

The West Johnston Wildcats baseball squad (Benson, NC), 7-4 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC)

With the triumph, Midway moves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Monday, March 17. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 6-0. South Lenoir won 5-1 in their recent league contest against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC)

The Wildcats now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Wayne for a Quad County 3A contest on Friday, March 14. West Johnston will confront a Saints squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Saints record now stands at 2-4.
