The South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) baseball trounced the host Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA), 16-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Tarpons now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. South Lafourche will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Bonnabel (Kenner, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
With the defeat, Salmen drops to 3-12 on the year. The Spartans host Fisher (Lafitte, LA) to clash with the Gators in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. The Gators go into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Fisher won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA)
