Oregon High School Basketball - West Linn holds off Southridge

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host West Linn Lions basketball team scored a close 56-50 triumph over the Southridge Skyhawks.

The Lions (22-5) will now prepare for their contest against Barlow (Gresham, OR). The Bruins go into the non-league contest with a 22-3 record. In their last contest, Barlow nipped Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR), 89-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Skyhawks confront the Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 14. Southridge will attempt to better on its 21-7 season record. The Olympians go into the contest with a 21-4 record after their 55-52 non-league win over Oregon City (Oregon City, OR).
