The Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) basketball edged the visiting Anadarko Warriors (Anadarko, OK), 49-44 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Indians now possess a 19-5 record. They play next when they travel to Community Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, March 14. Sequoyah will play a Royals team coming off a 51-40 non-league win over Adair (Adair, OK). The Royals record now stands at 20-1.

With the loss, Anadarko falls to 15-8 on the campaign.
