In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting River Bluff Gators lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-7 triumph over the Catawba Ridge Copperheads.

The Gators (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.

Next, the Copperheads meet the JV Opponent (, ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 17. Catawba Ridge will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA).
