The Asheville Cougars soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles to 2 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Watauga for a non-league bout on Monday, March 17. Asheville will play a Pioneers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Foard (Newton, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee moves to 1-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Covenant Day (Matthews, NC) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, March 14. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Covenant Day won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC)
