The New Hanover Wildcats soccer team (Wilmington, NC), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Thursday's non-league match with the visiting Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC)

With the triumph, Dixon moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC) to meet the Hurricanes in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 19. The Hurricanes come into the match with a record of 3-0.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A match on Tuesday, March 18. New Hanover will meet a Scorpions team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Scorpions record now stands at 2-4.
