In Thursday's non-league game, the host East Mountain Timberwolves baseball team scored a close 8-1 win over the Robertson Cardinals.
The Timberwolves (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Cibola nudged West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 18-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cardinals play the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 18. Robertson will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Elks/Elkettes go into the game with a 2-2 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
