The Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) baseball got by the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC), 7-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Forsyth for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20.
With the defeat, Marvin Ridge drops to 4-3 on the year. The Mavericks host Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 19.
