The James Island Trojans lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the host Myrtle Beach Seahawks to 7 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wando for a challenge on Monday, March 17. James Island will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Myrtle Beach falls to 0-6 on the year. The Seahawks host Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC) to clash with the Braves in a 5A District 5 challenge on Monday, March 17. The Braves go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Socastee lost 16-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Mauldin (Mauldin, SC)
