Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) and the visiting Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA), saw Mt. Zion's soccer squad triumph over Cedar Grove by a count of 9-0.

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Luella (Luella, GA). The Lions enter the 3A Area 5 battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Luella was overwhelmed by Riverdale (Riverdale, GA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Saints battle the Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA) in a 3A Area 5 battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Cedar Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Astros enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 4-3 league loss to North Clayton (College Park, GA).
