Fans at Thursday's league battle between the North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA) and the visiting Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA), saw North Clayton's soccer squad hold off Douglass by a count of 4-3.

The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA). The Pirates enter the 3A Area 5 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Stone Mountain tipped Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Astros battle the Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA) in a 3A Area 5 battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Douglass will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Saints enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 9-0 league loss to Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA).
