Louisiana High School Softball - Acadiana bounces Southside

In Thursday's league match, the host Acadiana Rams softball team scored a tight 8-2 win over the Southside Sharks.
The Rams (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Lions come into the 5A District 3 match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, Lafayette nipped Carencro (Lafayette, LA), 20-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Sharks battle the Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 15. Southside will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 9-6 record after their 18-3 league win over Westgate (New Iberia, LA).
