The Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) softball routed the host Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX), 10-3 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dripping Springs for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 15. Barbers Hill will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Georgetown (Georgetown, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Lake Travis moves to 10-7 on the season. The Cavaliers host Westlake (Austin, TX) to encounter the Chaparrals in a 6A Region IV District 26 outing on Friday, March 14. The Chaparrals come into the outing with a record of 10-5. Westlake lost 10-2 in their recent league outing against Bowie (Austin, TX)
