North Carolina High School Softball - Cannon knocked off by High Point Christian Academy

March 13, 2025: Concord, NC 28027

The High Point Christian Academy Cougars overwhelmed the host Cannon Cougars softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 17. High Point Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 16-0 league win over Trinity (Trinity, NC).

The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Gaston Christian was routed by Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 16-3, in a non-league challenge.
