Arizona High School Softball - San Leandro bounces Fairfax

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting San Leandro Pirates softball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Fairfax Stampede.

The Pirates (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Mission San Jose was routed by St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA), 13-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Stampede battle the Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 15. Fairfax will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the match with a 2-3 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ).
