The Franklinton Demons softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets to 1 in the Demons non-league win on Thursday.

The Demons now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cabrini for a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. Franklinton will confront a Crescents team coming off a 0-0 non-league Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA). The Crescents record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Mt. Hermon moves to 3-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Sumner (Kentwood, LA) to confront the Cowboys in a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. The Cowboys come into the battle with a record of 13-1. Sumner won 13-3 in their recent non-league battle against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA)
