North Carolina High School Softball - Queen's Grant sneaks past Greater Cabarrus Stallions

March 13, 2025: Matthews, NC 28105

The Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) softball nipped the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC), 7-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Stallions now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Hills for a non-league outing on Monday, March 17. Queen's Grant will encounter a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 17-2 league loss to Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Greater Cabarrus Stallions moves to 1-5 on the season. The Stallions travel to Sugar Creek Charter (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, March 20. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 0-3.
