California High School Softball - Miramonte bounces Head-Royce

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Miramonte Matadors softball team scored a tight 5-1 win over the Head-Royce Jayhawks.
The Matadors (4-4) will now prepare for their match against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Dons come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, De Anza nipped St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA), 23-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Jayhawks confront the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers (San Francisco, CA) in a Bay Counties - East match, on Tuesday, March 18. Head-Royce will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
