The Homer Pelicans triumphed over the host Richwood Rams softball squad by a count of 19-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Pelicans meet the Haynesville Golden Tornado (Haynesville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 17. Homer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Golden Tornado enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 9-2 league win over Ringgold (Ringgold, LA).
