The Lake Arthur Tigers triumphed over the visiting Midland Rebels softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Erath Bobcats (Erath, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 14. Lake Arthur will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 23-8 league win over Abbeville (Abbeville, LA).
The Rebels (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Eunice (Eunice, LA). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Eunice was routed by Notre Dame (Crowley, LA), 10-5, in a non-league challenge.
