The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR) and the visiting Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR), witnessed Wynne's softball team defeat Nettleton by a margin of 13-1.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heber Springs for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 15. Wynne will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Bauxite (Bauxite, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Nettleton moves to 3-2 on the season. The Raiders host Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR) to encounter the Golden Eagles in a 5A East battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Golden Eagles come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Greene County Tech lost 11-1 in their recent non-league battle against Conway (Conway, AR)
