The North Laurel Jaguars triumphed over the visiting Wayne County Cardinals softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Jaguars play the Leslie County Eagles (Hyden, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 17. North Laurel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln County overcame Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY), 17-5, in a non-league challenge.
