In Friday's non-league bout, the Bear River Bears (Garland, UT) baseball squad edged the visiting Pocatello Thunder (Pocatello, ID), by a tally of 8-7.

Next up, the Bears encounter the Bountiful Redhawks (Bountiful, UT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 17. Bear River will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Redhawks come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT).
