Tennessee High School Softball - Tellico Plains Copper Basin

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Tellico Plains Bears (Tellico Plains, TN) and the host Copper Basin Cougars (Copperhill, TN), observed Tellico Plains's softball team get by Copper Basin by a tally of 4-1.

The Bears (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Polk County (Benton, TN). The Wildcats go into the 2A District 2 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Polk County tipped McMinn Central (Englewood, TN), 6-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Sweetwater Wildcats (Sweetwater, TN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 16. Copper Basin will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Sequoyah (Madisonville, TN).
