Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), saw Sandia's baseball team gain a win over St. Pius X by a score of 10-3.
The Matadors (5-0) will now prepare for their game against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, La Cueva tipped Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM), 20-1, in a non-league game.
The Sartans (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Eldorado held off Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 6-4, in a league battle.
