Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons confront the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a Foothills 2A challenge, on Friday, March 18. Forbush will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Surry Central (Dobson, NC).

The Buckin' Elks now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Surry for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 29.
