Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils confront the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 18. Newton-Conover will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forestview for a Big South 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 15. North Gaston will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-3.
