George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Galileo (Danville, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) in a Piedmont challenge, on Wednesday, March 23. George Washington will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
The now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Halifax County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 16. Galileo will confront a Comets team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Heritage (Lynchburg, VA). The Comets record now stands at 0-1.
