North Carolina High School Softball - Perquimans bounces Albemarle School

March 14, 2022: Elizabeth City, NC 27909

The Perquimans Pirates routed the host Albemarle School Colts softball squad by a count of 17-11 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The go into the Four Rivers 1A battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, North East Carolina Prep was routed by SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC), 13-1, in a non-league battle.

The Colts now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Columbia for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 17. Albemarle School will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
